About Us

I created Love Lou during Lockdown. I had always wanted to design for myself and create my own brand. It wasn't until Lockdown that I found a purpose and a Love, which is creating new from old. I had no access to fabric shops and was not patient enough to order fabric online so I began cutting up old clothing for fabric and working with what I had accumulated over the years. I love the challenge of working with limited fabrics and having to adapt designs based on what I can do with what I have.

I also have the peace of mind that I am being kind to the planet, using already existing clothing as the base for my projects. I am very much a slow fashion brand and all pieces I create are made to order and are of limited quantity, which makes them that bit more special.My aim is to inspire confidence and awareness in what you buy and wear.
